Appleton United boys hockey defeats Pacelli for third-straight victory

APPLETON – The Appleton United boys hockey team posted its third-straight win, doubling up Stevens Point Pacelli 4-2 in a nonconference game Friday night at the Appleton Family Ice Center.

Logan Quinette scored in the early going and Henry Heathman added another as Appleton (7-9) took a 2-1 lead after one period.

Birk Kozlowicz scored early in the second period and Ethan Chosa knocked in an empty-netter with six seconds left to provide the final margin for Appleton.

Brandon Tobak made 18 saves in goal for Appleton, which has won four of its last five games following a six-game losing streak.

Appleton hosts Milwaukee Marquette for another nonconference contest Saturday night at 7 p.m.
