Appleton North, Xavier both have two picked to play in Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star Games

Rosters for this summer’s Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star Games were released on Monday with a number of area players and coaches on the rosters.
The Eight-Player All-Star Game will be played Friday, July 18, at 6 p.m. The Small School All-Star Game is at noon and the Large School All-Star Game is at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, all at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh.
The game features recently-graduated high school seniors from across the state, split between North and South squads.
Appleton North head coach Rob Salm, and assistants Matt Hechel and Niles Clark will lead the North Large School team.
Inside linebacker Bobby Salm and defensive back Daniel Garrigan have been chosen to represent the Lightning on the North team.
Other area players on the North Large squad are Kimberly offensive lineman Grayson Chalupny and outside linebacker Braedon Ellefson, Kaukauna offensive lineman Braeden Janse, wide receiver Parker Schuh and defensive back Reed Wittman, Neenah outside linebacker Luke Jung, and Menasha outside linebacker Logan Liegl and offensive lineman Jordan Sconiers.
Xavier had a pair of players picked to the Small School North team as offensive lineman Eddie Heuring and linebacker Cole Hietpas will lace up the spikes one more time.
Freedom quarterback Drew Kortz also was named to the North Small School team.
