Appleton North wins three events at FVA boys track quad

FOND DU LAC – Appleton North won three events and placed second at a Fox Valley Association boys track & field quadrangular on Monday at Fond du Lac High School.
Bobby Salm won the 300-meter hurdles in 43.25 seconds and Braden Walters took first in the 3,200 in 10:40.34 for the Lightning.
Appleton North also swept the top three spots in the high jump, with Adrion Rogers winning with a leap of 5 feet, 8 inches. Teammates Sam Kuehl was second at 5-6 and Gryphon Armon third at 5-4 in the Lightning’s first outdoor meet of the season.
Kaukauna won the team title with 83.66 points, with Appleton North second with 74.
Appleton North will compete at the Green Bay Preble Invitational on Thursday.
