Appleton North girls volleyball slams Oshkosh North

APPLETON – The Appleton North girls volleyball team regrouped after suffering its first Fox Valley Association loss in two seasons with a 3-0 sweep of Oshkosh North on Thursday night at Appleton North High School.

The Lightning, who lost to Oshkosh West on Tuesday 3-2, bounced back with an impressive 25-16, 25-10, 25-18, victory to improve to 3-1 in the FVA. Oshkosh North is now 0-4.

Teegan Charapata had 10 kills and three service aces, Lydia Koshuta finished with 10 assists and four aces, and Hannah Moua had six assists and five aces to lead the Lightning.

Chloe North added five digs and five aces, and Dyonna Kelly had three blocks and three kills as well for Appleton North.

Appleton North will compete at the Milwaukee Sting Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Sting Volleyball Center in Menomonie Falls.
