Appleton North girls golf wins home meet over Fond du Lac

APPLETON – The Appleton North girls golf team earned a 189-200 victory over Fond du Lac in a Fox Valley Association dual meet Wednesday at Butte des Morts Country Club.

North’s Taylor LeMire had a 41 and Julia Lindemann added a 42 to earn the top two spots at the meet.

Emily Brokl had a 52, Kendall Lindemann shot a 54, and Bella Bauman and Payton Willenkamp each had 57s as well for the Lightning (6-2 FVA).

Appleton North will finish its FVA dual meet schedule with a home meet at Butte des Morts on Tuesday against Kaukauna. The FVA Tournament will be held Thursday, Sept. 21, at Chaska Golf Course in Appleton.
