Appleton North girls golf earns FVA win over Kimberly

SHERWOOD – Taylor LeMire had a meet-best 38 to lead the Appleton North girls golf team to a 182-190 victory over Kimberly in a Fox Valley Association dual meet Tuesday at High Cliff Golf Course.

Emily Broki added a 43, Julia Lindemann shot a 49 and Bella Bauman had a 52 for North, which is now 3-2 in FVA duals this season.

Jenna Schumacher led Kimberly with a 40 to place second in the individual standings.

Appleton North will be back in action at the Heart of the Valley/Metro Invitational on Friday at High Cliff Golf Course. The meet was rescheduled after being rained out Aug. 14.
