Appleton North boys golf defeats Kaukauna to win first FVA dual

APPLETON – Appleton North’s Jon Huenink shot a one-over par 36 as the Lightning won their first Fox Valley Association dual of the season, beating Kaukauna 160-165 on Thursday at Reid Golf Course.

Drew Rudolf and Dax Macklin finished in a three-way tie for second with 39s to help the Lightning (1-2) to the team win.

Daniel Garrigan added a 45 and Nolan Shea shot 55 to round out the scoring for Appleton North.

Appleton North will be back at Reid on Friday to take on Hortonville.
