Appleton North boys basketball rolls to road win at Oshkosh West

OSHKOSH – The Appleton North boys basketball team won its fifth game in a row, downing Oshkosh West 68-54 on Friday night at Oshkosh West High School.
Will Sweeney and Abraham Tomori each scored 17 points, and Grant Hardy chipped in 14 points and seven rebounds for the Lightning, who are now 14-1 overall and 9-1 in the Fox Valley Association.
North made nine 3-pointers and shot 51 percent from the field in the victory.
Joey Ware led Oshkosh West with 16 points. The Wildcats fall to 5-11 and 3-8 in the FVA.
Appleton North is back in action Saturday at Neenah. Game time is 6:30 p.m. With a win, the Lightning would tie Oshkosh North for the lead in the FVA standings.
