Appleton North baseball drops nonconference game to De Pere

APPLETON – De Pere scored multiple runs in three of the first four innings and went on to an 11-1 nonconference win over Appleton North in high school baseball action Monday at North High School.

After De Pere scored twice in the top of the first against North starter Logan Hudson, Brayden Popp doubled and later scored on a wild pitch for Appleton North’s only run in the bottom of the first.

From there was all De Pere (4-1) as it scored five times in the third and added three more in the fourth before ending the game via the 10-run rule after six innings.

Appleton North (2-2) will play a Fox Valley Association game at E.J. Schneider Field in Oshkosh against Oshkosh North on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
