Appleton East’s Feller wins individual title, Kaukauna team crown at Fox Valley Association Girls Golf Championship

GREENVILLE – Kaukauna finished off the overall title with a 16-stroke victory at the Fox Valley Association Girls Golf Championship on Thursday at Chaska Golf Course.

Kaukauna, which was a perfect 9-0 in FVA duals this season, finished with a team score of 328, 16 shots ahead of Fond du Lac. Appleton North (364) was fifth, Appleton East (376) sixth and Appleton West (391) eighth at the 18-hole tournament.

Appleton East’s Jaelyn Feller earned the individual conference tournament championship by shooting a 79, finishing one shot ahead of Kaukauna’s McKenna Lowe.

Appleton North’s Taylor LeMire snagged a top-10 finish, taking eighth with an 83, and Julia Lindemann added an 88 for the Lightning.

Addison Edmunds tied for 25^th with a 95 to lead Appleton West.

Appleton East, Appleton North and Appleton West will compete at a WIAA Division 1 regional at Butte des Morts Country Club in Appleton on Monday.
