Appleton East softball loses road game at Neenah

NEENAH – Neenah used three four-run innings to down Appleton East 14-4 in a Fox Valley Association softball game Friday at Neenah High School.

The Patriots (2-4 overall and FVA) scored twice on an RBI single by Ava Smarzinski and a ground ball by Miley Bee.

Neenah (4-2, 3-2 FVA) responded with nine runs over the next three innings to take control.

Carson Harwood and Taelyn Bayer both had three hits, with Harwood also knocking in three runs for the Rockets.

Appleton East will play at undefeated Kaukauna on Tuesday.
