Appleton East girls volleyball drops home match to Neenah

APPLETON – The Appleton East girls volleyball team dropped a hard-fought 3-1 decision to Neenah in a Fox Valley Association match Thursday night at East High School.

Neenah won 25-17, 20-25, 25-17, 25-20. Both teams are now 1-3 in the FVA.

Lindsey Gerard had 13 assists and 12 digs, Zoe Wockenfus had 10 kills and 14 digs, and Addie Wreath had 13 digs for the Patriots.

Elizabeth Jacobs added eight kills and three blocks, and libero Emma Decker chipped in 11 digs for Appleton East.

Appleton East will have a week off before another FVA match at Hortonville on Thursday, Sept. 21.
