Appleton East girls golf wraps up FVA regular season with loss at Fond du Lac

FOND DU LAC – The Appleton East girls golf team wrapped up its Fox Valley Association regular season with a 164-195 loss to Fond du Lac on Thursday at Rolling Meadows Golf Course.

Lucy Nielsen had a meet-best 38 and Victoria Braun added a 39 to pace Fond du Lac (5-3 FVA).

Jaelyn Feller led Appleton East with a 44, Alex Simon added a 46, Caydence Snyder shot a 52, Ella Steger had a 53 and Addi Baier had a 54 for the Patriots.

Fond du Lac finishes its FVA schedule at home against Neenah on Tuesday. The Fox Valley Association Tournament will be Thursday, Sept. 21, at Chaska Golf Course in Appleton.
