Appleton East girls golf finishes fifth at Sheboygan Invitational

SHEBOYGAN – Jaelyn Feller tied for second place and helped Appleton East to a fifth-place finish in the team standings at the Sheboygan North/South Girls Golf Invitational on Monday at Town & Country Golf Club.
Kaukauna’s Charlie Clinefelter shot an 80 to win individual honors and lead the Ghosts to the team title with a score of 338. De Pere was a distant second with a 382, while East placed fifth with a 409.
Feller tied Kaukauna’s McKenna Lowe for second with an 81, and Alexandra Simon finished tied for 15th with a 98 for the Patriots.
Addison Baier added a 112, Kahlie Muntner shot 118 and Hayley Ponschock had a 149 as well for Appleton East.
The Patriots is back in action Thursday at Reid Golf Course for a Fox Valley Association dual against Appleton West.
