Appleton East girls golf finishes 16th at 24-team Green Bay Notre Dame Invite

GREEN BAY – The Appleton East girls golf team finished 16^th among 24 teams at the 18-hole Green Bay Notre Dame Triton Invitational on Monday at Oneida Golf & Country Club.

Wauankee, behind individual winner Izzi Stricker (67), won the team title with a score of 315, nine shots better than Middleton.

Appleton East ended up 16^th with a 403 as Jaelyn Feller tied for 20^th with an 84 to lead the Patriots.

Alexandra Simon had a 99, Caydence Snyder had a 107, Addison Baierl had a 113 and Ella Steger shot a 120 to round out East’s scoring.

Appleton East will compete at the Fox Valley Association Tournament on Thursday at Chaska Golf Course in Appleton.
