Appleton East, Fox Valley Lutheran earn top-15 individual finishes at Berlin Boys Golf Invitational

BERLIN – Appleton East’s Landon Hill placed fifth with a 74, and Fox Valley Lutheran’s Tate Sauer and Kaden Kusserow both shot 81s at the Berlin Boys Golf Invitational on Monday at Mascoutin Golf Course.
Hartford won the team title with a score of 299, well ahead of second-place Kewaskum (325).
Fox Valley Lutheran and Appleton East both only had three participants and did not qualify for a full team score.
Luke Graf of Kewaskum won the individual title with a 71.
In addition to Hill’s top-five finish, Bobby Marx shot an 83 and Brayden Nieman had a 90 for Appleton East.
FVL’s other competitor was Ethan Ruppel, who shot an 89.
Appleton East will host Oshkosh North for a Fox Valley Association dual meet on Tuesday at Reid Golf Course. Fox Valley Lutheran is off until Wednesday, May 15, when it competes at the North Eastern Conference Tournament at Brown County Golf Course in Green Bay.
