Appleton East boys soccer cruises to road win over Oshkosh North

OSHKOSH – Appleton East scored four goals in the first half and rolled to a 5-2 win over Oshkosh North in a Fox Valley Association boys soccer game Tuesday at North High School.

Alexis Vera scored twice, and Jalen Thoa and Sevie Koss added goals in the first 35 minutes of the first half as the Patriots took a commanding lead.

Vera added another goal in the final minute to finish off a hat trick. Thoa had two assists, and Owen Mineau, Vera and Koss also had assists in the win for Appleton East.

The Patriots are now 4-1-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the FVA. Oshkosh North falls to 1-3-1 and 0-2 in conference play.

Appleton East hosts Oshkosh West on Thursday at 7 p.m.
