APPLETON – The Appleton East boys basketball team won its fourth-straight game as it defeated rival Appleton West 55-35 in a Fox Valley Association matchup Friday night at East High School.
Joey LaChapell had 20 points and Grayson Kasmarek added 13 for the Patriots, who are now 7-13 overall and 4-11 in the FVA.
Appleton West drops to 1-20 and 0-15 in the FVA. Statistics for the Terrors were not provided.
Appleton East travels to Salem for a nonconference game against Westosha Central on Saturday before returning to FVA action Tuesday at Oshkosh West.
Appleton West hosts Neenah on Tuesday in FVA action.
