Appleton East baseball slams Oshkosh West

OSHKOSH – Appleton East erupted for nine runs in the top of the first inning and rolled to an 11-1 win over Oshkosh West in a Fox Valley Association baseball game Thursday at Oshkosh West High School.
Jackson Bines-Sabrowsky had an RBI double and Cade Prestigiacomo knocked in a run with a triple in the big inning for Appleton East, that included three Oshkosh West errors.
Rylan Winkler picked up the pitching win, striking out three in five innings for East.
The Patriots (2-0 overall and FVA) finished with 10 hits, which included two each from Ethan Winkler, Alex Thompson and Prestigiacomo.
Appleton East hosts Beaver Dam for a nonconference game on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
