Appleton East baseball powers past Pulaski

APPLETON – Appleton East used a four-run sixth inning to pull away and defeat Pulaski 8-5 in a nonconference baseball game Saturday at East High School.
The Patriots (2-6) scored in each of the first three innings to take a 4-2 lead and led by one before the big sixth inning clinched the win.
Daniel Dieck, T.J. Parker and Mason Winkler each had two hits in the win for East.
Mason Winkler picked up the pitching win, striking out six in four innings. Carson Whitton finished it off with a strikeout in the seventh to grab the save.
Appleton East’s next game is Tuesday at Neenah starting at 4:30 p.m.
