Appleton East, Appleton West down Oshkosh West in FVA boys golf double-dual

OSHKOSH – Appleton East and Appleton West both earned victories over Oshkosh West in a Fox Valley Association boys golf double-dual on Monday at Oshkosh Country Club.

Appleton East finished with a team score of 165 and Appleton West had a 174, both besting Oshkosh West’s 193.

Kenny Kapheim and Owen Lutes both shot 39 for Appleton East to earn meet medalist honors.

Prestynn Evers led Appleton West with a 42 and Collin Evers added a 43 for the Terrors.

Appleton East (1-4 FVA) will host Kaukauna at Reid Golf Course on Tuesday, while Appleton West (4-2 FVA) will be off until Friday when it hosts Neenah at Winagamie Golf Course.
