Appleton Double Days Legion baseball walks to home win over Bay Port

FOX CROSSING – The Appleton Double Days Legion baseball team posted its third-straight win, doubling up Bay Port 10-5 on Thursday night at Koslo Park.
Appleton (4-2) scored in five-straight innings, including four times in the second inning to take the lead for good.
The Double Days took advantage of 16 walks and two errors to score 10 runs despite finishing with only three hits.
Dawsen Burrington had two RBI and Dan Dieck scored three times in the win for Appleton.
Cade Prestigiacomo picked up the pitching win, striking out four and allowing just two runs over four innings of work.
The Double Days will have the weekend off before playing at Kaukauna on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
