Appleton North boys volleyball finishes second at FVA Tournament

KIMBERLY – Appleton North finished 3-1 to take second place at the Fox Valley Association Boys Volleyball Tournament on Saturday at Kimberly High School.

North defeated Green Bay Notre Dame 2-0 and Appleton East 2-0 in pool play, then beat Neenah 25-14, 25-12, in the Gold Power Pool, before losing to Kimberly 24-26, 25-23, 15-11.

Appleton East went 2-2 and Appleton West finished 1-3.

East lost to North and Notre Dame 2-0, before coming back to beat Sheboygan North 25-19, 25-20, and Appleton West 25-19, 25-22.

West lost to Fond du Lac and Kimberly in pool play 2-0, before beating Sheboygan North 25-14, 25-20, for its lone win.

Appleton North hosts Kimberly for a rematch on Tuesday, while Appleotn East will travel to Kaukauna and Appleton West will be at Fond du Lac.
