Fox Valley Lutheran girls volleyball routs Denmark in conference opener

DENMARK – Fox Valley Lutheran opened its North Eastern Conference girls volleyball season with a dominating 3-0 sweep of Denmark on Thursday night at Denmark High School.

The Foxes rolled  25-5, 25-7, 25-6, to improve to 10-3 overall this season.

Annalise Patchett had 11 kills and six digs, Emma Nilson also had 11 kills and chipped in three blocks, and Molly Bixby had a team-high 18 assists for Fox Valley Lutheran.

Riley Schmitz led the Foxes in digs with 16, and Ava Patchett added nine assists and four digs in the win.

Fox Valley Lutheran returns to action next Thursday, Sept. 7, with a conference matchup at Wrightstown.
