Appleton West softball drops road game at Neenah

NEENAH – Neenah smashed out eight extra base hits, including a home run from Carson Harwood, and defeated Appleton West 12-1 in a Fox Valley Association softball game Tuesday at Neenah High School.

Taytum West struck out six in a five-inning complete game for the Rockets (6-1, 4-1 FVA), allowing just two hits, and also had a single, a double, a triple and two RBI offensively in the victory.

Morgan Baehman had a single and scored the lone run for Appleton West (1-5, 0-5 FVA).

Appleton West will host Appleton East at the Nienhaus Sports Complex on Thursday at 5 p.m.
