Appleton West has pair of runner-up finishes at Oshkosh North girls track quad

OSHKOSH – Appleton West had a pair of runner-up finishes and placed fourth at a Fox Valley Association girls track & field quadrangular on Monday at Oshkosh North High School.
Hortonville won the team title with 102 points. Appleton West ended up with 18 points.
Appleton West’s 400-meter relay team of Adaya Vallafskey, Milo Rodriguez, Anniston Hamilton and Emma Gil placed second in 56.32 seconds, and the 3,200 relay team of Marlo Seefeldt, Morgan Breed, Roseanna Dane and Lucie Fouts also finished second in 11:02.73.
Jacquelyn Malm took third in the high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 6 inches, Ally Koehler was fourth in the high jump (4-4), Breed finished fourth in the 1,600 (5:52.62), and Malm was fourth in the long jump (14-4) as well for the Terrors.
The Appleton West girls next meet is a triangular, along with Fond du Lac, at Appleton North on April 29.
