Appleton West boys golf wins FVA opener over Kaukauna

NEENAH – Prestyn Evers fired a 1-under par 35 to win medalist honors and lift the Appleton West boys golf team to a 159-162 victory over Kaukauna in the Fox Valley Association boys golf dual meet opener for both teams on Friday at Winagamie Golf Course.

Jonah Roehrig finished second with a 36 for Kaukauna.

Lucas Downs and Thomas Wendt both shot 41, Thomas Bertrand had a 42 and Austin Arizola had a 43 as well for the Terrors.

Both teams will compete at the Metro Invitational at High Cliff Golf Course in Sherwood on Monday.
