Appleton North boys golf drops FVA dual at Neenah

NEENAH – Neenah’s top four finishers all shot between 40-42 leading the Rockets to a 165-175 win over Appleton North in a Fox Valley Association boys golf dual on Thursday at Ridgeway Country Club.

Appleton North’s Jon Huenink was meet medalist, shooting a one-under par 35 with a card that included four 3s.

Neenah’s Mason Peitersen shot a 40 and Cartry Simonson had a 41 to finish second and third.

Daniel Garrigan had a 45, Coy Priebe shot 47, Charlie Olson had a 48 and Griffin Schroeder a 49 for the Lightning (0-2 FVA).

Both teams will compete at the Metro Invitational on Monday at High Cliff Golf Course in Sherwood.
