Hortonville shuts out Fox Valley Lutheran girls soccer

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls soccer team suffered a hard-fought 1-0 loss to Hortonville in a nonconference game Wednesday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Sarah Bendorf scored the game’s only goal for the Polar Bears (2-1-2).

FVL goalie Sabrina Schmidt made six saves in goal as the Foxes fall to 1-5 this spring.

Fox Valley Lutheran will play another nonconference game at Kaukauna on Thursday.
