APPLETON – Three Kimberly pitchers combined on a four-inning no-hitter and the Papermakers blanked Appleton East 19-0 in a Fox Valley Association softball game Tuesday at East High School.
Kimberly (2-1 overall and FVA) scored nine times in the opening inning and added seven more in the second to win going away.
Sophie Hermus had four hits and four RBI to lead the way for the Papermakers, who finished with 18 hits overall.
Appleton East (0-5, 0-3 FVA) will look for its first win of the season Thursday at Oshkosh North.
