Oshkosh West shuts out Appleton East softball

OSHKOSH – Oshkosh West held Appleton East to two hits in a 10-0 shutout in Fox Valley Association softball action Thursday at Oshkosh West High School.

Allena Neubauer and Reese Reichelt had singles for the Patriots, who fall to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the FVA.

Oshkosh West scored four times in the first inning and close the game via the 10-run rule with a four-run fifth.

Elizabeth Kramer earned the pitching win and had two hits for Oshkosh West (3-2, 1-1 FVA).

Appleton East will host Bay Port for a nonconference game on Friday beginning at 4:30 p.m.
