Fox Valley Lutheran baseball wins home opener over Clintonville

APPLETON – Fox Valley Lutheran scored four runs in the fourth inning and defeated Clintonville 4-1 in a North Eastern Conference baseball game Tuesday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
Jack Schlueter drove in a pair of runs with a double to break open a scoreless game and the Foxes tacked on two more.
Jordan Sanders (four innings) and Aidan Rachoner (two innings) shut out Clintonville (0-3, 0-2 NEC) for FVL before the Truckers scored their only run in the seventh.
Dawson Burington had two of FVL’s five hits as the Foxes improve to 2-0 overall and in the NEC.
Fox Valley Lutheran returns to action Monday at home against Little Chute.
