Late goal lifts Appleton United boys hockey past Oshkosh

FOND DU LAC – Birk Kozlowicz knocked in the game’s only goal with 3:38 remaining in regulation to lead the Appleton United boys hockey team to a 1-0 win over Oshkosh in a Badgerland Conference playoff game at BlueLine Ice Arena on Saturday.
Ethan Chosa assisted on the game-winner for Appleton (8-14).
Brandon Tobak saved 27 shots in goal for Appleton, playing its regular-season finale.
The WIAA postseason brackets will be announced on Sunday with the playoffs beginning on Feb. 18.
