Appleton North girls basketball dominates Oshkosh North

OSHKOSH – Ten different Appleton North players scored as the Lightning blew past Oshkosh North 62-33 in a Fox Valley Association girls basketball game Tuesday at Oshkosh North High School.

The Lightning led by 10 at halftime before outscoring Oshkosh North by 19 in the second to win going away.

Avery Werfal finished with 15 points, five rebounds and five assists, Addison Werfal added nine points, and Tay Maas and Addy Campbell each chipped in eight in the win for Appleton North (7-11, 4-10 FVA).

Awut Alic topped Oshkosh North (5-14, 3-11 FVA) with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

Appleton North hosts first-place Kimberly for another FVA game on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
