Xavier boys basketball slams Green Bay East

APPLETON – The Xavier boys basketball team won its third game in a row, rolling past Green Bay East 76-53 in a Bay Conference matchup Tuesday at Xavier High School.

The Hawks, winners of six of their last seven contests, are now 15-5 overall and 9-1 in the Bay Conference and remain one game behind West De Pere heading into their matchup with the Phantoms on Feb. 13.

Logan Ramczyk had 22 points, five rebounds and five assists, and Luke Oelhafen had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds to pace Xavier.

The Hawks ended up with 10 3-pointers, four by Ramczyk.

Quincy Shields led Green Bay East (0-15, 0-9 Bay) with 21 points.

Xavier will play at Menasha on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
