West De Pere sends Xavier girls basketball to third-straight loss

DE PERE – West De Pere avenged its only Bay Conference loss of the season with a 60-41 win over Xavier in girls basketball action Friday night at West De Pere High School.

Xavier defeated West De Pere by one point back in December and the Phantoms have not lost a conference game since, improving to 14-4 overall and 8-1 in the Bay after the victory.

Brynn Krull was the lone Hawk to reach double figures, scoring 13 points, as Xavier (7-10, 4-3 Bay) suffered its third loss in a row.

Faith Walder led West De Pere with 22 points.

Xavier plays a Bay Conference game at New London on Monday at 7 p.m.
