Appleton West Cheer team wins division at Appleton North competition

APPLETON – The Appleton West Terrors Cheer team placed first in its division for the second meet in a row at the Lightning Bolt Explosion on Saturday at Appleton North High School.

The team consisting of captains Caitlin Holz and Madelynn Davis, teammates Elliana Clift, Katie Kelley, Hanna Micek and Lorelei Riley-Burbach, and first-time competitors Isla Tompkins, Ava Jesse, and Ella Propst were victorious.

The West Cheer team is coached by Lisa and Mike Richards.

The Terrors will compete at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s It’s Showtime competition on Jan. 19.
