Fox Cities Stars girls hockey doubles up Black River Falls

NEENAH – Evie Mursau had two goals and an assist as the Fox Cities Stars girls hockey team defeated Black River Falls 4-2 on Friday night at the Tri-County Ice Arena.
Kendall Lindemann and Scarlet Pellegrini had goals for the Stars (8-4) as they took a 2-1 lead after two periods.
Mursau scored both of her goals in the third period, the final one on an empty net with three seconds remaining.
Addison Grasse had 19 saves in goal for Fox Cities.
The Stars are back in action Saturday night against the Badger Lightning at 7 p.m.
