Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball falls short at first-place Freedom

FREEDOM – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball took first-place Freedom to the wire before falling short, losing 34-29 in a North Eastern Conference matchup Tuesday at Freedom High School.
Freedom (10-1, 7-0 NEC) led 15-13 at halftime and outscored the Foxes (3-6, 3-4 NEC) by three in the second half to win the low-scoring affair.
Brianna Dahlke led Fox Valley Lutheran with 11 points.
FVL will host Marinette on Friday at 7 p.m.
