Valley Swim Team sweeps 11 races, downs Oshkosh North/Lourdes

APPLETON – The Valley Swim Team, a co-op of boys swimmers from Appleton West, Kimberly, Kaukauna and Hortonville high schools, improved to 3-0 in the Fox Valley Association with a dominating 121-50 victory over Oshkosh North/Lourdes on Tuesday at Appleton West High School.

VST won each of the 11 races and had six runner-up finishes to earn the win and remain in first place in the FVA.

Max Baade (200-meter freestyle, 100 freestyle), Hayden Hollenbeck (200 individual medley, 400 freestyle), Tyler VanGompel (50 freestyle, 100 backstroke) and Ethan Pasholk (100 butterfly, 100 breaststroke) each won a pair of individual races for the Valley Swim Team.

The Valley Swim Team will be back in action Saturday at the Ashwaubenon Invitational.
