Fox Cities Stars boys hockey dominates Appleton United

NEENAH – The Fox Cities Stars scored six unanswered goals over the first two periods and went on defeat rival Appleton United 8-2 in a Badgerland Conference boys hockey game Tuesday at Tri-County Ice Arena.
Six different Stars players scored in the opening two periods to give them a commanding 6-0 lead.
After Appleton (3-5, 1-3 Badgerland Conference) scored twice to open the third on goals from Henry Heathman and Ethan Chosa, the Stars finished off the win as Cale Adamovich had his second goal and Mason Lautenschlager added another.
Logan Brownson had 14 saves in goal for the Stars (5-6, 2-2 Badgerland Conference).
Brandon Tobak made 38 saves for Appleton.
Appleton United will play at Kenosha on Saturday, while Fox Cities is off until Jan. 4 when it travels to West Bend.
