Slow start dooms Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball in loss at Denmark

DENMARK – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball team could not overcome a slow start and dropped its first North Eastern Conference game, falling 56-48 to Denmark on Tuesday at Denmark High School.
Denmark led 24-13 at halftime and were able to finish off the win, improving to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in the North Eastern Conference.
Eden Last had 16 points and Grace Meier scored 12 for the Foxes (3-3, 3-1 NEC).
Fox Valley Lutheran is back in action Friday at Luxemburg-Casco.
