Fox Cities Stars boys hockey drops road game at Fond du Lac Springs

FOND DU LAC – The Fox Cities Stars boys hockey team dropped their third-straight game, losing to Fond du Lac St. Mary’s Springs 8-3 in a Badgerland Conference game Thursday night at the Blue Line Family Ice Center.
Gabe Braun scored four times in the opening two periods as the Ledgers (5-1, 2-1 Badgerland) raced out to a 6-0 lead. He added the final goal of the game to finish with five in the win.
Fox Cities (4-5, 1-2 Badgerland) netted all three of its goals in the final period, with Weston Beyer, Cam Collins and Sam Robb scoring.
The Stars will host Mequon Homestead for a nonconference game Saturday at 8 p.m.
