Xavier girls volleyball finishes 3-2 at Milwaukee Sting Center tournament

MENOMONEE FALLS – Xavier went 3-2 and Appleton North finished 1-4 at the 32-team girls volleyball Charger Challenge at the Milwaukee Sting Center on Saturday.

Xavier lost to Mukwonago 25-20, 25-10, and Menomonee Falls 25-12, 25-16, before defeated Green Bay Notre Dame 25-16, 25-19, Wisconsin Lutheran 25-20, 25-16, and Manitowoc 25-22, 25-20.

Setter Syndey Neilitz piled up 96 assists and 11 service aces, Madison Daley had 25 kills and 26 digs, and Ali Tylinski had 21 kills and four blocks for the Hawks.

Lily Renz added 21 digs, Elle Downs had 12 kills and 12 blocks, Lexi Allen had 16 kills and Roe Kendall finished with 14 kills as well for Xavier.

Appleton North match results and statistics were not reported.

Xavier will host Menasha for a Bay Conference match on Thursday, while Appleton North will travel to Kimberly for a Fox Valley Association matchup on Thursday.
