Appleton East girls volleyball sweeps Oshkosh North for first conference win

OSHKOSH – The Appleton East girls volleyball team picked up its first Fox Valley Association win of the 2024 season, sweeping Oshkosh North 3-0 on Tuesday at Oshkosh North High School.

The Patriots (1-2 FVA) won 25-23, 25-15, 25-15.

Junior Zoe Wockenfuss had 13 kills, 17 digs and four service aces, Elizabeth Jacobs added nine kills and a pair of blocks, and Opal Sparkman had 22 assists in the win for Appleton East.

Oshkosh North is now 0-3 in conference play.

Appleton East will be back on the road Thursday at Neenah. The match will start at 7 p.m.
