Fox Valley Lutheran shuts out Waupaca in NEC finale

APPLETON – Alex Tornio fired a three-hit shutout as the Fox Valley Lutheran baseball team wrapped up its North Eastern Conference season with a 13-0 rout of Waupaca on Friday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Tornio struck out four and walked three, while giving up three singles and the defense behind him did not commit and error as FVL won its fourth-straight game, all by shutout.

Jacob Bickel and Mac Kramer both had two hits and three RBI to pace the Foxes’ offense.

Fox Valley Lutheran (13-10, 12-6 NEC) will play two games at the Wisconsin Lutheran Quad on Saturday.
