Fox Valley Lutheran baseball roughs up Waupaca

WAUPACA – The Fox Valley Lutheran baseball team secured third place in the North Eastern Conference standings with a 14-0 shutout of Waupaca on Tuesday at Waupaca High School.

The Foxes scored multiple runs in four of their five at-bats and rolled to the victory, improving to 12-10 overall and 11-6 in the NEC after posting their third-straight win via shutout.

Jack Schlueter allowed just one hit in four innings and Mac Kramer threw a perfect fifth inning to finish off the shutout for FVL.

Dawson Burrington and Lucas Papendorf each had two hits, with Papendorf driving in three runs and Alex Tornio two in the victory for the Foxes.

The two teams will play again Friday at Fox Valley Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. in the final NEC game of the season.
