Fox Valley Lutheran softball smashes Clintonville

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran softball team smacked 13 hits and rolled to its fifth-straight win, a 14-4 rout of Clintonville in a North Eastern Conference game Thursday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Claire Pfrang had three hits and three RBI, and Delaney Baumbach had a single, a double and four RBI for the Foxes, who are now 15-6 overall and 9-6 in the NEC.

Madison Babcock struck out seven without a walk, allowing just one run through five innings to earn the win for FVL.

Hannah Butler scored three times, and Alaina Krueger added two hits and two RBI in the win for the Foxes.

Fox Valley Lutheran will play another NEC game at Little Chute on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
