Oshkosh West downs Appleton North in FVA boys golf dual

OSHKOSH – Appleton North’s Drew Rudolf won meet medalist honors with a 41 but the Lightning fell short in the team score, losing a Fox Valley Association boys golf dual meet to Oshkosh West 175-180 on Monday at Oshkosh Country Club.

Parker Gerlach and Ben Reitz led Oshkosh West (1-7 FVA) with 43s, tying Appleton North’s Dax Macklin for second place.

Jon Huenink had a 45, Mason Bernhardt shot 51 and Nolan Shea had a 55 as well for Appleton North (2-5 FVA).

Appleton North’s next match is Thursday at home at Reid Golf Course against Fond du Lac.
