Appleton North softball loses home game to Oshkosh North

APPLETON – Oshkosh North pitcher Brooke Peters limited Appleton North to four singles and the Spartans won a Fox Valley Association softball game 7-1 on Monday at Appleton North High School.

Oshkosh North (9-8, 8-6 FVA) scored in each of the first four innings and rode the arm of Peters to the win.

Lauren Geer had three hits and Kara Cummings drove in two runs for the Spartans.

Appleton North’s lone run came in the second inning when Raegen Schwarz singled and later scored.

Appleton North (5-13, 3-10 FVA) travels to Hortonville on Thursday.
